Polish black metal band Batushka is in Istanbul for the first time.

Black metal band Batushka, which emerged from the shadows of eastern Poland in 2015 and made its sound heard in a short time, will meet with the audience at Taksim Dorock XL Venue Fitaş Stage on April 17, with the Epifoni organization for their first Istanbul concert.

The band, founded by guitarist Krzysztof Drabikowski, was later joined by vocalist Bartłomiej Krysiuk and drummer Marcin Bielemiuk. Batushka established themselves as one of the most powerful bands of the modern era. Leveraging the fire and fury of black metal and channeling it into the resounding splendor of ancient worship rituals, the band’s debut album, Litourgiya, was highly acclaimed. With the second album released in 2019, the group’s strength has doubled and they have a tight fan base in the international arena.
